License Plates
As a member of the EU, Slovenia's license plates feature a blue band on the left side of the plate with the EU circle of stars and the country code SLO. Plates are white with black text and a green borger: SLOAB∇123-CD. The first one or two letters represent the region of registration, and is followed by the coat of arms the city of registration (represented by a ∇ above). The regional codes are organized by city, and surrounding towns are also covered by the same code:
